This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the Chat-Bound RPG Twitch Extension (the "Extension"). By installing, activating, or interacting with the Extension on any Twitch channel you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.
Subject to your continued compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Extension solely on Twitch channels where the broadcaster has installed and activated it. The Extension is licensed, not sold.
You must have a valid Twitch account in good standing to use the Extension. The Extension relies on Twitch's identity, chat, and monetization systems. If your Twitch account is suspended or terminated by Twitch, your access to the Extension is automatically suspended on all channels.
You agree to use the Extension only for its intended purpose: playing the in-stream RPG. Acceptable use includes typing game commands in chat, interacting with the panel and overlay, customizing your character, and participating in events the broadcaster runs.
You agree NOT to:
!autoexplore).The Extension's code, assets (art, sounds, written content), and game systems are owned by Jaesaen ("we") and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You acquire no ownership interest in the Extension itself by using it.
The third-party trademarks "Twitch" and "Twitch Extensions" are owned by Twitch Interactive, Inc. and are used here per Twitch's developer agreement.
Some Extension features let broadcasters submit custom content (custom items, exploration events, quests, art preset selections). By submitting any such content you represent that:
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and serve your submitted content within the Extension. We can remove submissions that violate this Agreement at our sole discretion.
The Extension may include features that require Twitch Bits to use (cosmetic-only purchases, deterministic gameplay attributes per Twitch §6.1.3). All Bits transactions are processed by Twitch under Twitch's Bits Acceptable Use Policy. We never see your payment information.
Bits-purchased items are non-refundable and have no real-money value. Bits never grant random or chance-based outcomes inside the Extension.
Subscriber-only benefits (such as XP boosts) are tied to your real-time Twitch subscription status on the broadcaster's channel. If you unsubscribe, the benefits stop applying immediately on your next action.
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR GAME PROGRESS WILL BE PRESERVED IN THE EVENT OF A SOFTWARE BUG, INFRASTRUCTURE FAILURE, OR DATA LOSS, ALTHOUGH WE MAKE BEST EFFORTS TO PRESERVE IT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, GAME PROGRESS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE EXTENSION. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL BITS-EQUIVALENT VALUE YOU SPENT IN THE EXTENSION DURING THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE U.S. DOLLAR.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Extension at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of this Agreement, for repeated abuse, or to comply with applicable law or a Twitch policy change. Termination does not refund any Bits you have spent. The Prohibited use, Intellectual property, Disclaimer, and Limitation-of-liability sections survive termination.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be announced in chat on Jaesaen's Twitch channel and via the Extension's panel before they take effect, with at least 30 days' advance notice. Your continued use of the Extension after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from this Agreement will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California. You waive any objection to jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, this clause does not override your mandatory consumer-protection rights under local law.
